Grabbing Attention Through Typography In Web Designing

While designing a web page, it is essential for every web design company to attract attention to the most important events, items and contents in the website you are making for a client. There are a number of ways by which you can attract the attention of internet users. Most web designing firms will find it effective to simply change the font size of the content headline. Setting the font size pretty is a simple way to draw in attention of visitors and a good and expert Web Design Company should know this as well.
Using typography and font sizes to get the attention of online users is not a new concept. You should know a few typography rules that generally followed by a web design firm before you go on and adjust your titles or headlines to 48px or even larger. Here are some of the guidelines:
  1. Highlight only important information in the content. Before adjusting a headline to bigger font, you should know that the particular part is really that important. For example if you are announcing 50% off, this will surely elicit interest but making your font unreasonably huge will likely to turn off your customer’s interest. And this is something that you and your web design services company should take care of.
  2. Use the standard font size for the rest of the page. This is just a common sense: if you type everything at 12pt, then creating a 14pt heading might not look all that different.
  3. You need to set font size standards. Once you have set up the plan and standards, even if your client comes running back to you and starts beseeching you to announce the recent sale at 54pt, you should strictly follow the pre-determined standard for the particular level of content.
