Factors To be Considered While Buying Memory Foam Mattresses

Memory foam mattresses are widely available in the market today. However, there are some factors that have to be considered while planning to buy a memory foam mattress. When purchasing them, the person's weight is reckoned. Body weight plays an important role when sleeping on a memory foam mattress. Thickness, of these memory foam mattress has lot to do with weight. The larger the weight, larger would be the thickness of the mattress.

Density is matter of a person's choice of having soft or firm mattress. The higher the density, firmer is the mattress, and it easily support the body overall weight. Finally they should have good ILD rating. The ILD rating on a memory foam mattress is the rating of the actual firmness of the mattress determined through a series of tests of the visco elastic material used in the manufacturing of the memory foam mattress. If you would like to compare ILD ratings to that of a Tempurpedic mattress, then an ILD rating of around 13 to 15 should be about right.

Forget the days you woke up with a irritating ache in your lower back. Get your own memory foam mattress from the memory foam mattress manufactures like healthy foundations or any other well known companies and just feel like sleeping in the clouds. Though things got initiated for space people, now it has found space even in your household.

So in conclusion when you’re looking to buy memory foam mattresses, make sure you choose one that is 4 pound density for memory foam toppers or 3.2 to 3.4 lbs for the whole mattress.

Perfect Combination Of Memory Foam Mattress

This is a guest blog by Jessica Parker. She is a freelance writer who writes about home decorating, and she is currently working on Memory Foam Express. She is specialized in designing memory foam double mattress, memory foam mattress and memory foam topper.

As for the basic mattress portion, most people stay with a good innerspring. But if you are open to it, I urge you to consider a good foam bed or even a latex bed. These types of bases just have a more substantial feel than other beds and wear like iron.
It is important to get a good quality foam bed (2.2 density or up of high resiliency or similar foam), and latex is even denser but you pay a premium for it as well. Either way, your foam bed should be at least 5 - 6" deep. And it really is best to first lay down on the piece of foam or latex you will be buying to see if it is the right firmness.
One last option is just to buy the foam and memory foam portions of the bed all in one prefabricated unit - like the Visco Elastic Memory foam mattress. I do like the Visco Elastic Memory foam mattress and would suggest it for those of you liking a firm bed. But for those of you looking for a less expensive option, there are a growing number of other memory foam beds out there.
Again I would caution you to investigate the quality of materials used in any of these beds before buying, and also make sure that they have a good return and warranty policy. I am investigating a number of these to see if I can find one that I would feel comfortable carrying. As of now, I really don't have any to recommend, but I will let you know if I find one that I really like.
